taiwan traditional arhiecture

after the 921earthquake in 1999, I went to the military.
so i almost stop to make icons. But many friends mail me and inspired me to make more icons. I have specially to thank the friend from german. during the earthquake period, he told his gf in Taiwan try to contact me. Try to know about my situation. at that time, we almost lost most of power, so I couldn't contact him. anyway, thanks your concerning about.

now, i have finish my compulsory military service. i'll continue making icons about the taiwan traditional architecture series, there are a lots data about the theme.

i try to make the general architecture form at first, like residence, shrine and well. after several times trying, i think the relics seems more interesting. and i made some relics in taipei. the form of taiwan traditional architecture are original from the chinese architecture system. i am prefer to make the historic tradition architecture now.i'll add the native architecture and the western architecture during the japanese ruled period in the future.

about the icons, there are 3 relics in taipei, all of them built in the ching dynasty.
if you come to taiwan, you can easily find them in taipei city.
north gate(1884), the north gate in old taipei city.
provincial government(1888), one building belongs to the old provincial government memorial arch(1888), this arch was erected in honor of Hung Teng-yun for enthusiasm for public ware.
